LEGAL POLICIES & TRAVEL STANDARDS

1. Scope & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Algerian Tours (algeriantours.com). By requesting an itinerary, submitting a reservation through our digital forms, communicating via WhatsApp, or participating in our private guided excursions across Algeria, you acknowledge and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all private day tours, multi-regional circuits, Saharan expeditions, and transportation services provided directly by our founder, licensed tour guide Rasha, and our network of certified chauffeurs.

2. Booking Process & Reservation Confirmation

Direct Booking: Bookings are submitted via our online reservation forms (WPForms) or through our official WhatsApp concierge channel.
Instant Verification: Upon submitting your booking request, you will receive an immediate electronic confirmation detailing your tour date, selected itinerary, pickup timing, and agreed pricing.
Accuracy of Information: Guests are responsible for providing correct hotel accommodation details, flight itineraries, group numbers, and operational contact numbers (active WhatsApp preferred) to ensure smooth pickup logistics.

3. Transparent Pricing & Cash-on-Arrival Payment Policy

Zero Advance Booking Fees: Algerian Tours operates on trust and complete financial transparency. We do not require advance credit card payments, online deposits, or non-refundable reservation fees for standard private day tours.
Currency & Settlement: All published rates (in Euros €, or local equivalent in Algerian Dinars DZD by prior arrangement) are fixed and transparent. Full payment is settled in cash directly to your private guide upon pickup or completion of the day’s excursion.
Price Inclusions: Published day tour rates cover licensed private guiding (native English fluency), entrance tickets to all scheduled archaeological parks and museums, private air-conditioned vehicle transport with dedicated chauffeur, fuel, road tolls, and hotel door-to-door pickup and drop-off.
Domestic Flights: For multi-regional or Saharan circuits that require internal flights, domestic airfare ticketing arrangements will be clearly quoted and itemized prior to final confirmation.

4. Explicit Exclusions

Unless explicitly agreed upon in writing in a bespoke custom itinerary, our tour rates strictly exclude:

International airfare to and from Algeria.
Algerian entry visa application procedures and consular fees.
Comprehensive personal travel, medical, baggage, or trip cancellation insurance.
Meals, lunches, and personal refreshments outside of complimentary bottled water during transit.
Discretionary tips and gratuities for your private guide and chauffeur.

5. Cancellation & Modification Policy

Because we require no upfront deposit, we ask for mutual respect and timely communication regarding any schedule changes:

Guest Cancellations: If you must cancel or postpone your excursion, please inform us via WhatsApp or email at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled departure time so vehicle and guide schedules can be adjusted.
No-Fee Rescheduling: We accommodate date changes and itinerary modifications free of charge, subject to guide availability and domestic transport schedules.
Operator Cancellations: While rare, Algerian Tours reserves the right to modify or adjust routes due to severe weather, road closures, temporary monument closures, national holidays, or unforeseen safety considerations. In such cases, an equivalent alternative schedule or full cancellation without penalty will be provided.

6. Visa Formalities & Travel Documentation

Travelers are solely responsible for ensuring their travel passports have at least six (6) months of validity remaining and for securing all appropriate Algerian entry visas before arriving in the country. Algerian Tours can provide an official tour booking confirmation voucher to support your tourist visa application once your dates and itinerary are agreed upon.

7. Travel Insurance & Health Responsibilities

Algerian Tours strongly recommends that all international visitors purchase comprehensive travel and medical insurance covering emergency medical expenses, personal injury, baggage loss, and trip interruption prior to entering Algeria. Participation in walking tours across historic medinas, cobbled Casbah stairways, Roman ruins, and mountain viewpoints requires a reasonable level of physical mobility. Guests are requested to inform us in advance of any mobility restrictions, dietary requirements, or medical considerations so we can tailor the route accordingly.

8. Safety, Diplomatic Discretion & Code of Conduct

Diplomatic Standards: Algerian Tours adheres to the highest standards of safety, professional discretion, and respect for local cultural norms, reflecting our experience serving international embassies, diplomatic missions, and independent travelers.
Heritage Preservation: Guests are required to respect the rules of UNESCO World Heritage sites, archaeological parks, and sacred sanctuaries, including photography regulations inside protected museums and respectful attire at active mosques and religious shrines.
Safety Instructions: Guests must follow the safety guidance provided by their licensed guide and chauffeur during transit, clifftop walks, and archaeological explorations.

9. Limitation of Liability

Algerian Tours and its operational staff exercise the greatest care in managing private transport, scheduling, and verified local providers. However, Algerian Tours cannot be held liable for:

Flight delays, cancellations, or lost luggage caused by international or domestic airlines.
Delays caused by force majeure, road construction, traffic conditions, or state-ordered temporary security checkpoints.
Loss, theft, or damage to personal items, luggage, cameras, or electronic devices during tours or left inside transport vehicles.
Personal injury or illness arising from non-compliance with local safety guidance or pre-existing health conditions.

10. Privacy & Data Handling

Any personal information collected through our contact forms, WPForms booking submissions, or WhatsApp messaging (including names, passport numbers when required for domestic flight booking, hotel addresses, and phone numbers) is kept strictly confidential. We never sell, rent, or distribute guest information to third-party marketing companies.
